Great Landmark. All Will county residents have hopefully traveled thru this Great landmark.. i take my Grandchildren to watch trains when ever I get a chance to teach them how the car we are watching gets grain for the farmer, oil is loaded up at a refinery, ect....

I really enjoy the most is the Polar Express each year.

Great landmark of Joliet, Many of days and evening I take my Grandchildren here to watch the trains. I teach them how the material is produced, farmed or loaded up on many different cars pull by very powerful locomotives. I look forward each year to try to book the "Polar Express". Come to Union Station to look at this beauty.

My great uncle retired from the Rock Island Railroad and became bridge tender on this RR bridge. I will never forget my father bringing me to see him at the bridge tender house and feeling the rumble of the train going over the bridge as I stood and watched the train cross over the bridge. A childhood memory I'll never forget. Thanks for the great picture.

True, there are nothing like "Pop Ups" to completely throw off your day. So, I'm learning to improvise a lot more. I've finally learned the importance of keeping a notepad in my pocket; although an IPad or Android tablet would be much better. "Pop Ups" are becoming one of my best friends for learning to use my time more effectively and flow. "Pop Ups" the great teacher of "Mindfulness."
